BioChannel Partners: Sharon EatonSince 1987, Sharon has been working within the life science industry gaining experience in R&D, regulatory compliance, sales, marketing, distributorship and channel management. Products managed have ranged from commodity and cutting edge consumables and laboratory equipment to high tech instrumentation with software components. With a passion for science, research and relationship management, Sharon tackles every project with a rare balance of strategic insight and attention to detail. An MBA, obtained in 2002 from Strathclyde University, had a strong element of strategy development, data management and marketing relationship management. Electives included entrepreneurial business marketing, change management and managing service operations. An investigation of how life sciences companies identify, select, motivate and evaluate their overseas distributors was completed for the dissertation project. Sharon has also continued with her studies at the Hunter Centre, Strathclyde University on a post graduate programme in technology entrepreneurship and was the secretary for the Strathclyde Entrepreneurial Network in 2003.
